The Canadian Rockies Trail Guide and other books featured on this website are published by Summerthought Publishing, a Banff company since 1971.

If you are within North America, our books can be purchased directly through this website by clicking the Add to Cart links on book pages. All credit-card transactions are authorized and processed by Stripe or Paypal.

In Canada, Individuals

Canadian Rockies

Within the Canadian Rockies, Summerthought hiking books are sold at all Park Visitor Centres, outdoor retailers, and bookstores. You can also find them at all museums, most attractions and at many gift stores. You will also find them for sale at many lodges.

Across Canada

Summerthought hiking books are sold at Mountain Equipment Company stores across Canada, as well as Chapters/Indigo, and Atmosphere. In Alberta, you’ll find them at all outdoor retailers, including local chains such as Breathe Outdoors and Valhalla Pure.

We encourage you to support local booksellers. Ask for our books by name at your local bookstore. In Canada, search by the book’s name at Book Manager to see if your local store has them in stock. If not, ask for a special order.
